Cliff Jernigan
Cliff Jernigan is a sole practitioner at his own law firm, focusing in two areas: federal tax audit strategy and representation before the California Legislature and the U.S. Congress. From 2001 -2005, he served in the top management of the IRS and from 1979 - 2001 he was Director of Taxes and General Tax Counsel and Worldwide Director of Government Affairs at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Throughout his career, Jernigan also held corporate tax counsel positions at Bank of America, Stauffer Chemical Company and Dole Foods.
Larry Langdon
Larry Langdon, long recognized as one of the industry's premier innovators and luminaries, brings more than 25 years of experience in tax practices to Planitax's Board of Advisors. Mr. Langdon is a Partner and Director of law firm Mayer, Brown, Rowe and Maw's Global Tax Practice. Prior to this, Mr. Langdon served as Commissioner of the Large and Mid-Size Business Division within the IRS. Mr. Langdon also served for over 21 years as Vice President, Tax, Licensing and Customs at Hewlett-Packard. In 2002, Mr. Langdon was listed as one of the five most influential tax authorities in the world by cfo.com and has also been extensively quoted by the media in publications such as The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
Deborah Lange
Deborah Lange is the former Senior Vice President of Tax and Customs at Oracle Corporation. At Oracle, Ms. Lange was responsible for managing the company's worldwide tax and customs functions including all aspects of income and non-income tax compliance, audits by government agencies, tax policies and procedures, and accounting for income and non-income taxes. An active member in the tax community, Ms. Lange is currently Chair of the Silicon Valley Tax Directors Group and a board member of the Software Tax and Finance Executives Council. Prior to joining Oracle in November 1987 as the head of the tax department Ms. Lange was employed for nine years with Arthur Andersen in the London, Portland Oregon, Hong Kong, and San Jose California offices.
Pamela Packard
Pamela Packard, former Vice Chairman and National Business Line Leader of Tax Service at BDO Seidman, LLP, served the company for 25 years. She also worked on the company's board of directors and was a past president of the Financial Women's Association of New York. Packard currently serves as the Chair of the Audit committee and is a published author, editor and speaker on tax topics, and business strategy and leadership issues.
Bob Perlman
Bob Perlman was with Intel from 1978 to 2001, during which time he held multiple positions in the corporate tax department and chaired the company's Government Affairs Council. Prior to Intel, he held positions at Memorex Corporation, Norton Simon, Inc., Touche Ross and Company, and served until 2004 as a Director in the Washington National Tax Service office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
Kathleen Ranucci
Kathleen Ranucci is the Director of Tax Strategy and International Operations at Eli Lilly and Company. Prior to joining Eli Lilly, she served as the Vice President of Tax at Guidant Corporation from 1995 to 2006. During that period she oversaw Guidant's spin-off from Eli Lilly through its eventual sale to Boston Scientific Corporation. While at Guidant she embraced the adoption of tax technology in her organization. Prior to her role at Guidant Corporation Ms. Ranucci worked in the corporate tax department of GTE Corporation, now Verizon, and spent seven years at Arthur Andersen.
Glen Rossman
Glen Rossman, former Vice President of Global Taxation for Cisco Systems, from 1998 to 2004 was directly responsible for all income, federal, franchise, sales/use, property and local county taxes. Additionally, Rossman was a partner at Coopers & Lybrand from 1998 to 2004 and managed the company's San Jose, California tax practice. Prior to Coopers & Lybrand, he served as Tax Chair of the global high-technology tax practice at Arthur Andersen, while also managing the San Jose, California tax practice.
